Americas Best Value Inn Athens, TN

I could not have asked for nicer customer service. I had gotten into the hotel late due to traffic and I could tell the lady behind the counter was genuinely glad I made it safe and sound to he hotel. I was impressed that not only did they have a fridge, but they had a microwave that allowed me to have a warmed up meal that night. The shower was hot, plenty of clean towels. For the price you pay you would be hard pressed to find a better place to rest your feet. I will definitely be using them on my return and any future trips.

I gave 4 stars mainly due to price, and weekly rates. If you're working in town, and not super picky then it's a fine place. Clean, good service, and good location. Some rooms could have better water pressure, and the ice machine is slow, but the dryer works only running it one time (that's a 1st for me at a hotel).

I love it here. The staff are all super sweet. They have gone above and beyond to make me and my dog Snickers comfortable. They gave me an awesome discount for being a traveling Certified Nurse's Aide. If there's a problem, they address it right away. Snickers and I love our room here.

The clerk was soooo nice, I was always talking her; I'm annoyed I forgot name. .the room was spotless, never saw any bugs. Provided sheets when needed. Even let me borrow the vacuum when I needed it. AK is cool too.

The Pros- Convenient to the interstate and major gas stations, Very clean, big spacious rooms! No funky smells, no stained linens, NO bugs and it's very low key and quiet. Now here are the Cons- A little bit pricey given what it is and considering there is not a breakfast or anything of the sort offered where as competitor's offer a full breakfast for just a few dollars more a night, also the rooms need more sitting furniture and the parking lot needs repaved desperately.

“A+”. An absolutely fantastic place to stay with an extremely kind owner who goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. Traveling 9 months out of the year, I have lived in hotels for the past 21 years. I walked in my room with a huge smile. The rooms at this extremely moderately priced hotel was decorated like a bedroom in a home with a rice bed, beautiful wood furniture, writing table, and nice wall paper w/ complementary wall paper separated by chair rail. Not to mention fridge, microwave, and a beautiful lounge chair, it automatically made me feel right at home. It’s hard enough when you live on the road. What a difference staying here made on my week. A+.

Great room. Very clean. I would stay here again in a minute. Very friendly hostess. I was allowed to park my RV close by, which made it very handy to get what we needed.

definitely worth the price. had a jetted tub extremely comfortable bed. not the most impressive look for a room but man the comfort out does the appearance.
